I’m Georgina, an MSc Psychology graduate specialising in Psychotherapy, with experience supporting adults and children affected by trauma. I’ve worked internationally in hospitals and NGOs, assisting multidisciplinary teams and supporting refugees, survivors of domestic violence, cancer patients, and other marginalised groups.

I’ve lived and volunteered across Europe and further afield, often joining local initiatives focused on community wellbeing and recovery. My background combines trauma-informed care, intercultural communication, and visual storytelling; photography has become one of the most meaningful ways I connect with people and document underrepresented communities.

My work is rooted in observation and empathy, guided by a desire to capture what I truly see: the atmosphere, the feeling, the emotion that sits quietly in a person’s eyes and expression. I’m drawn to how light interacts with people and space, how it reveals the tiny details in a persons face and how it can transform our perception; something mundane can become hypnotic, someone in pain can be seen.

At the heart of every image is a moment that moved me, shaped by what I saw, words shared, or the rhythm or state of the environment itself. The lens, for me, is a tool for connection and understanding; each photograph a fragment of a shared human story: a temporary exchange, a mutual understanding, recognition, and respect. A story can finally be told.
